Hi, I'm Debbie Muñoz and I created MrsCommunication to help small business owners and non-profit organizations make sense of the web. 

From Obsession to Profession

During my time as an outreach business counselor for a Small Business Development Center, I constantly heard the same issues come up over and over again. Besides needing capital, entrepreneurs were always looking for new ways to drum up more business.  They were sick of dumping their hard-earned money into ineffective marketing tactics. So, I decided to start searching for new cost-effective marketing tools, and stumbled across a concept called "email marketing". I became obsessed. For the next few months, I learned as much as I could about the topic, and I created my very first e-newsletter. The e-mail campaigns were so well received by local small business owners, that they were instrumental in increasing the center's seminar attendance by 100% that year!
